Assessment programs face increasing pressure to deliver high-quality scoring more quickly while maintaining validity, consistency, and transparency. AI-assisted scoring offers significant opportunities, but only when implemented within a governance model that keeps human expertise at the center. This session explores how AI scoring helps subject matter experts deliver more of their expertise at scale, what this looks like in practice, and why transparency and human-led design are critical to successful outcomes for both organizations and candidates. The presenters will surface the ways in which AI scoring can improve real work in measurable and meaningful ways and raise questions around the trade-offs between speed, consistency, and quality.
