Demand for microcredentials is growing as employers seek targeted evidence of workforce skills, learners expect faster pathways to recognition, and credentialing organizations expand their offerings. However, creating agile credentials requires rethinking traditional approaches while preserving the validity and credibility that make credentials valuable. This session explores how organizations can develop microcredentials with both speed and rigor. Speakers will examine rapid credentialing from three perspectives: workforce alignment, business strategy, and psychometric design. Through practical examples, attendees will learn how to identify what can be streamlined, what should be redesigned, and what must remain unchanged to create timely, defensible credentials.
