Can you envision what your credentialing organization will look like 10 years from now? This session uses wargaming — a strategic exercise developed by the military and long used by companies in competitive industries to predict and prepare for the future — to help attendees consider three potential futures for the credentialing profession. A "winner" will be voted on by audience polling. Our panel of experts will be assigned to "inhabit" one of three scenarios for credentialing in 2036. Each panel member will work through what decisions a credentialing organization would need to make to thrive in that world, then present their strategy to the group. Market data and credentialing industry trends will inform each scenario, giving participants a realistic foundation to game out how the profession might respond and giving attendees a working framework they can bring back to their own organizations for future strategic planning.
