Many of us in the testing industry have embraced the role that AI can play in producing professional examination, however it is essential that we also explore how AI may be fundamentally changing the professions we serve and what that means to our future assessments. If AI can write multiple-choice questions, it stands to reason that AI can answer those questions. It therefore will not be long before AI will perform the very professional functions for which the test was intended to assess. During this panel presentation, experts from across a variety of professions will discuss how AI is currently impacting the professions they credential and how it may impact those professions in the future. We’ll discuss how these changes may impact credentialing in those professions and how their certifications will need to change to stay beneficial and valuable in the future.
