Amanda Slavens, ICE-CCP, serves as Chief Operating Officer for the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy® (NAWCO®), where she oversees certification operations, examination administration, accreditation compliance, and strategic initiatives for seven national certification programs while leading development of the organization's eighth certification. Since joining NAWCO in 2016, she has played a key role in the organization's successful achievement and ongoing maintenance of National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accreditation, as well as examination development, quality assurance, and psychometric processes. Amanda earned the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) Credentialing Specialist certificate in 2019 and was among the inaugural group of professionals to receive the ICE Certified Credentialing Professional (ICE-CCP) designation in 2021.
