Jeff Grann, Ph.D., is Credential Solutions Lead at Credential Engine, where he helps education, workforce, and credentialing organizations use transparent, interoperable data to connect credentials and skills with learning and career outcomes. His work focuses on credential and competency data, digital credentials, open standards, and practical implementations of the Credential Transparency Description Language (CTDL) and Credential Registry. Before joining Credential Engine, Jeff led assessment and learning analytics initiatives at Capella University, including the development of an institution-wide competency map and embedded assessment system. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota and brings experience spanning assessment, data, technology, and credentialing to efforts that make the value and outcomes of credentials easier to understand and demonstrate.
