Integrity Advocate Sponsor Session: Protecting Trust Across the Entire Assessment Lifecycle
Description

Assessment integrity doesn’t begin at proctoring, or end when an exam is submitted. For testing programs, true credibility depends on protecting the entire assessment lifecycle: from exam design and identity verification, through secure delivery, to trusted credential issuance and verification. This session explores how a connected, lifecycle-based approach to assessment integrity helps programs strengthen trust, reduce risk, and improve defensibility at scale. Rather than treating integrity as a single control point, we’ll discuss how assessment design practices, secure proctoring, behavioral risk detection, and post-exam credential verification work together to protect outcomes long after testing is complete. Attendees will learn how modern programs are aligning exam security with credential governance, ensuring that results can be trusted not only at the moment of testing, but throughout the credential’s lifespan. The session highlights how privacy-by-design principles, human-led review, and verifiable digital credentials support fairness for test takers while meeting institutional and regulatory expectations. Participants will leave with a practical perspective on how to move beyond siloed solutions toward a cohesive assessment ecosystem, one designed to protect integrity, validity, and trust across every stage of the assessment process.
