Terrance Gutberlet manages security for NCARB’s Architect Registration Examination (ARE). He is responsible for formulating, implementing, and conducting NCARB’s exam misconduct prevention, detection, and investigation efforts. Terrance joined NCARB in 2019 as an item editor and later branched out into managing or contributing to several other stages of exam development. Before NCARB, he worked as an editor and a secondary school English teacher. His educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Loyola University New Orleans.
