Brad Brossman is the Vice President of Psychometrics at the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), where he oversees the production, data analysis, and scoring for about 60 Initial Certification and Continuing Certification assessment programs. He brings over 15 years of experience in the testing industry, with expertise spanning international large-scale assessments and board certification. Brad began his career as a Research Psychometrician at Boston College in the TIMSS and PIRLS International Study Center before joining ABIM in 2012. Since then, he has served in progressive roles, including Research Psychometrician, Director of Psychometrics, and his current position as Vice President. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Measurement and Statistics from the University of Iowa in 2010 and continues to apply his passion for advancing measurement science in support of ABIM’s mission to improve health care through rigorous assessment.
