A former high school teacher turned psychometrician, Sara spent nearly two decades overseeing large-scale assessment design before pivoting to her current work of anchoring emerging technology with principled assessment design. As the Chief Assessment and Learning Officer at Finetune by Prometric, she is on a team that was pioneering Generative AI tools back when ChatGPT was just a twinkle in the internet’s eye.

At Finetune, her work goes far beyond prompt engineering or item generation. Instead, measurement experts and AI engineers collaborate to create new AI systems uniquely designed to serve the assessment, certification, and education industries at scale.
