Dr. Dugosh is Vice President, Test Development at the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is responsible for overseeing the production and processing of examinations and examination-related material within the department and across other sections of the organization. He also takes a leadership role in improving examination processing quality control procedures, efficiency and security.

He previously served as ABIM's Director of Test Development. In this role, he had primary oversight responsibility for all day-to-day operations related to producing ABIM examinations and self-assessment products. Through the course of his tenure, he has served as the primary staff administrator for several ABIM Exam Committees, including Internal Medicine, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, Sleep Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Infectious Disease.

Dr. Dugosh is a member of both the editorial board and the international advisory board of Education in Medicine Journal and has served as a reviewer for Academic Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, International Journal of Testing, Medical Education, Singapore Medical Journal, and Basic and Applied Social Psychology. He has also served as a reviewer for several professional meetings including the American Educational Research Association, National Council on Measurement in Education, and Association of Test Publishers. In addition to publications on topics in social and personality psychology, including psychological scale development, his presentation topics have included measuring editing skills, writing good test and survey questions, computer-based testing, and item development and banking.

Before joining ABIM in 2001, Dr. Dugosh worked in a variety of capacities within the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington. There, he taught experimental psychology, human relations and social processes laboratory courses.
