Trushant Mehta is the Co-Founder and CTO of OpenEyes Technologies, where he leads with a mission-driven approach to innovation, accessibility, and AI-powered software solutions. With over 25 years in technology leadership, Trushant has guided OpenEyes in developing transformative platforms like the Smart Assessment System, built to improve educational access for underserved communities.

He also serves as CTIO of Fair Patterns & Amurabi, a Paris-based firm combatting dark patterns in digital design. A member of the Forbes Technology Council, Trushant actively contributes to the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) in the U.S., Europe, and India, serving on its International Data Privacy and AI Advisory Boards.

Known for his people-first culture, Trushant champions education and women’s empowerment—supporting employee advancement and maintaining a 65% female workforce at OpenEyes’ offshore center. He sits on advisory boards of Aspire2STEAM and TorchIt, focusing on STEAM education and assistive technology.

He also advises universities in India and regularly speaks at global conferences. In 2022, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Office of President Biden and recently secured a patent for an AI-based Auto Item Generator, with more innovations on the way.
