Dr. Alex Casillas is a Principal Research Psychologist in ACT’s Skills Research and Development team with approx. 25 years of experience in the testing industry. He specializes in assessment design, behavioral predictors of performance and persistence in education and work settings, and implementation of training and learning programs. He has a strong track record of thought leadership and research dissemination (85+ publications; 6200+ citations; 100+ presentations at national and international conferences). His current work focuses on helping learners, educators, and workforce professionals to measure and train essential skills. He is originally from Mexico and a first-generation college graduate.
