Sierra HamptonSimmons, PMICPMAI, ICECCP, is a senior executive with more than
two decades of leadership in digital product development, workforce transformation, and
certification strategy. She currently serves as Vice President of Certifications and
Learning Innovation at the Institute of Management Accountants, overseeing
globally recognized credentials, including the CMA®, and advancing modern,
competencybased learning experiences.

Previously, Sierra held leadership roles at PMI, where she guided the evolution of the
PMP® and launched PMI Study Hall, and at Cisco Systems, directing global
certification programs such as CCNA and CCNP.

A respected industry voice, she has served as President of the Performance Testing
Council and contributes to organizations including the Space Workforce Institute and
WorkCred.

Sierra holds a B.S. in Japanese from Georgetown University and an MBA from the
University of Florida.
