Sheronne is a Manager in Programs: Assessments at NCARB, where she blends her passion for people with her experience in exam development to create meaningful volunteer experiences. Joining NCARB in 2016 and transitioning into her current role in 2019, she has worked closely with subject matter experts leading them through training, item writing, and review processes to support high-quality exam content. With a background in project management and more than a decade of nonprofit experience, Sheronne specializes in building collaborative processes that empower SMEs and ensures exam content is developed with fairness and clarity. She has been instrumental in developing innovative approaches to training, item writing, and volunteer recognition—ensuring that SME voices remain central, even as AI and new technologies transform the testing landscape. Known for her energy, connection, and commitment to community, Sheronne brings both people-centered and process-driven strategies to her work. At Innovations in Testing 2026, she will co-facilitate the session “SME Engagement in the AI Era: Motivation, Innovation, and Organizational Readiness” to highlight strategies that keep SMEs engaged, valued, and prepared as AI continues to reshape the testing landscape.
