Dave Mehrtens is the Technical Product Innovation Director at NBME, where he leads strategic initiatives in new product development across the Growth & Innovation Team. With over two decades of experience as Director of Technology in the K–12 eLearning sector, Dave brings deep expertise in SaaS architecture, infrastructure selection, and cross-functional team leadership. He has successfully guided diverse development teams while aligning technology solutions with broader business goals spanning product, sales, content, operations, and support.
At NBME, Dave applies his extensive technical background to drive innovation and operational excellence in assessment solutions. His ability to bridge technical execution with strategic vision makes him a key contributor to NBME’s mission of advancing assessment science.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, skiing, playing pickleball, and competing in Duplicate Bridge.
