In 2024 DVSA embarked upon a discovery into the experiences of our D/deaf customers who use sign language to access the driving theory test. We knew that those who booked British Sign Language (BSL) support for their test had a lower pass rate, but we didn't know why. Our presentation will cover what we did, the challenges that we faced, the recommendations that we've taken forward and how we've measured our success so far.
