Dr. John Hosterman provides expert consulting and disability case review for a number of Canadian, US, and multinational test sponsors in the fields of law, health care, financial services, and others. Dr. Hosterman has worked in the high-stakes testing industry for many years, reviewing approximately 1,200 candidate requests for test adjustments per year. Prior to this, he maintained a private practice focusing on psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment for learning disorders and ADHD. He is currently the Chair of the ATP committee on disability accessibility. Dr. Hosterman is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences discussing issues related to disability access in high-stakes testing. Dr. Hosterman is fluent in American Sign Language and is a professional advisor to several international disability advocacy organisations.
