Eric leads Learnovate’s research and technology agenda, shaping strategies that drive impactful innovation in the future of learning and work.
With over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, Eric brings a rich background in product and innovation management, and human-centric design. He has held roles at organisations such as Microsoft, Fexco, the ADAPT Centre, and CLEAR Global (Translators without Borders), where he led digital transformation and multilingual technology initiatives supporting marginalised communities.
Eric is a contributing member of the NSAI ISO 56000 innovation standards group and is very active in Ireland’s innovation ecosystem. He has developed and co-created innovation training, facilitated startups and spinouts, and lectured on Design Thinking and innovation. His recent work includes co-founding a start-up and advising public sector organisations on AI strategy.
Eric holds an MSc in Product Management where he researched how an organisation could use Design Thinking methodologies to create their organisational strategy. He is passionate about turning complex challenges into opportunities through collaborative innovation and inclusive design.
