Nadir is Head of Assessment Measurement at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. He has worked in educational assessment for 15 years, harnessing the power of data to address pressing policy and technical issues related to the awarding of high-stakes assessments. Nadir has conducted research on the predictive validity of qualifications, the setting and maintenance of assessment standards, and the evaluation of reforms. He has extensively worked on the use of data to inform decision making and to promote knowledge and transparency in the assessment system. He currently leads a varied team of experts in psychometrics, data science, AI engineering and language assessment ensuring the efficient delivery of valid test results, as well as the development of new assessment capabilities based on the latest technological advances.
