Hans holds a Master's degree in Chinese Language and Literature, with minors in English and German as foreign languages, and a university certificate in Data Science. He has 20 years of public sector experience, including consulting roles with the European Commission and NATO. His teaching career spans higher and adult education, instructing German in Taiwan and Mandarin Chinese in Germany.
In the last three years at OAT, Hans has helped expand TAO's outreach, set up the PISA contractual assignment, and represented OAT in the UNESCO Global Education Coalition to advance digital transformation in education supporting SDG4.
