Ron Zeronis is Head of Assessment Content Quality at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. He has over 25 years' experience in English language education and assessment. He holds a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Leicester, UK. His current work explores how Generative AI and related technologies can be applied responsibly to support scalable, quality-driven approaches to assessment content development. He leads a team of specialists working on the practical application of assessment standards across AI-enabled content generation, accessibility, equity, diversity and inclusion and sustainability. The team help to ensure that innovation in assessment content enhances quality while maintaining validity, accessibility, inclusion and trust.
