Large-scale assessment transformation is often challenged by the realities of organizational change: staff and leadership turnover, shifting stakeholder priorities, evolving business requirements, new technologies, and competing definitions of success. As the saying goes, it takes a long time to turn a big ship. This panel brings together speakers from multiple assessment organizations to discuss assessment changes and the lessons learned while navigating what turned out to be multi-year change processes in complex testing environments. Panelists will share experiences managing transitions across executive teams, psychometric and operational stakeholders, partners, policy makers, and candidate populations, all while maintaining program quality, security, and continuity.
