In higher education, students are consistently exploring how they can leverage their existing skillsets to progress toward degree completion. But not all certificates and certifications are created equal—how to differentiate what is worthly of college credit, and what is not? In this session, we will discuss how the psychometric best practice and the Standards informed creation of a rubric used to evaluate external certificates, certifications, and other exam-based credentials for potential college credit.
