Matt works with teams across Pearson VUE to increase the accessibility of Pearson VUE’s products and services and to assist in meeting the accessibility needs of test candidates. He manages accessibility audits of VUE products and exams by working with an accessibility quality assurance team that includes native assistive technology users. He also works closely with client program management and with individual clients to address accessibility questions and challenges.
Matt was a school psychologist in a K-12 setting for over 13 years prior to joining Pearson VUE. As a school psychologist, he focused on clinical assessment and utilizing technology to help students remain in their home school setting. Matt transitioned to Pearson VUE in 2013, working with the accommodations team and in 2018 he began working on the accessibility for accommodations team. Combined, Matt has over 22 years working in assessments, disability, and accessibility. Matt holds master’s and specialist degrees in education and is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies.
