Tara Myers, PhD is Director of Measurement Services at the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), where she leads strategic direction and execution for the organization’s certification exams and associated products. Prior to joining ANCC, she worked as a consultant designing high-stakes assessment programs across industries. Her recent work includes talent management, coaching, and integrating accommodations and AI into education and assessment design while maintaining validity, reliability, and fairness in credentialing. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Myers has contributed extensively to the field through publications, presentations, and professional service. She was an author in the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) Certification Handbook, has held editorial and leadership roles with SIOP and I.C.E., and currently serves as immediate past chair of the Certification Network Group (CNG) Board of Directors.
