Safiyah is currently a Senior Manager of Workshop Facilitation with the Exam Development team at CompTIA, Inc., specializing in IT certifications. In this role, she leads a range of workshops, including item writing, cut score, and job task analysis, collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the development of high-quality exams. Safiyah finds great satisfaction in working with SMEs as they share their expertise throughout the process, ensuring that their certifications remain relevant and impactful. She began this position in March 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous roles. Before joining CompTIA, Safiyah worked as an educational consultant with a leading curriculum company focusing on adult education for teachers and school administrators. This experience, coupled with my time as an elementary school principal, assistant principal, and technology instructional coach, has given her a strong foundation in educational leadership and program development. She also has experience as a middle school STEM teacher, where she specialized in robotics and general science, fueling her passion for hands-on learning and technology. With over 15 years in the educational sector, Safiyah is deeply committed to helping others learn and believe education is a powerful tool for opening doors to new opportunities. She is passionate about lifelong learning, both personally and for her two daughters, and she hopes to inspire them to embrace learning throughout their lives. Safiyah is married, and together with her family, she strives to create an environment of continuous growth and learning.
