Annika has been working in the German education sector for more than 20 years: After initial positions at Duden-Verlag, she was Managing Director of Verlag an der Ruhr GmbH for 10 years, where she discovered her passion for the fact that we must learn to embrace and manage diversity and heterogeneity in schools in order to create true equality for all children. At Klett Lernen und Information GmbH, she has been responsible since 2022 for ensuring that diagnosis-led support and formative assessments can make a significant contribution to this mission. She is increasingly focussing on early childhood education - because the earlier we identify language and learning levels using formative assessments and screenings, the earlier educational professionals can provide children with effective, individualised support with long-lasting effects.
