Zaky Chan is the Regional Certification Programs Leader at the Project Management Institute (PMI), where she drives the strategic growth and delivery of certification programs across key Asia markets. Since joining PMI in 2022, Zaky has successfully relaunched the PMI’s China certification program in the post-COVID era —delivering over 200,000 exams while strengthening PMI’s strategic partnership with its key government partner.
Zaky brings over 17 years of experience in market entry strategy and integrated marketing for global brands in China and Asia. Prior to PMI, she held leadership roles at top-tier marketing agencies and served as a marketing leader for major international brands, where she managed brand development, digital transformation, CRM, B2B performance, and government relations.
Her career is distinguished by a proven track record of leading cross-functional, multicultural teams in developing award-winning campaigns—recognized by the 4As Awards, Cannes Awards, and the China PR & Events Awards. As an entrepreneur, she co-founded and scaled a premier experiential marketing agency in China with a team of over 100 employees delivering over 120 projects annually for her clients.
After relocating to New York in 2019 to begin a new chapter with her family, Zaky continues to bring her deep China market insight and operational expertise to serve the global certification and professional learning community through working with PMI.
