Dr. Leslie Thomas is the Chief Psychometric Officer (CPO) at Kryterion, a Drake International company. As CPO, Leslie leads a team of highly talented test developers and psychometricians who work closely with clients to develop high-stakes credentialing and workforce evaluation solutions. In her executive leadership role, she leverages over 20 years of industry experience to shape Kryterion's business strategy, service offerings, and technology roadmap, particularly regarding the use of AI in assessment. Leslie is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences on AI-related topics such as responsible use, human oversight, change management, and transparency.

Leslie has also been engaged in advancing the assessment and credentialing field, including serving as secretary of ATP's Technology-based Assessment Committee and contributing to multiple ATP publications on the use of AI in the assessment. Before joining Kryterion, Leslie served as the Chief Psychometric Officer at Brainbench (later acquired by SHL and then CEB), ran a boutique Fortune-500 consulting firm, and worked as a research scientist at ACT, where she researched CAT algorithms for making classification decisions and increasing measurement precision using collateral item information.
