Trade associations like ATP exist for the collective benefit of their members. Even though member organizations operate in competitive spaces, there are often instances when speaking with one voice as an industry can serve as a powerful message to individuals or entities that may seek to unfairly malign or share misinformation about testing, providing unwarranted criticism and ignoring the positive aspects of tests and testing. In this session, presenters will share their thoughts about why advocacy, provide strategies for industry approaches, and note the risks if advocacy campaigns are not implemented.
